David S. López
Chief Executive Officer
David S. López attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where he attained both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science Degree in Health Care Administration. He is a respected leader with extensive experience and is also a Fellow (FACHE) in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Throughout his career, he has held various key leadership (Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer) positions in large well recognized public hospital systems throughout the State of Texas.
His personal philosophy is that his work on behalf of patients is “ministry” oriented and considers it an honor and a privilege to be of service to those in need. Managerially, he is committed to continually improve the quality of care provided as the preferred approach towards maximizing efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, he strongly believes that healthcare organizations must develop and implement programs that emphasize primary care, prevention and wellness as strategic initiatives for improving the health status of their respective communities.
Diane Thompson
Chief Operating Officer
Diane Thompson has over 45 years of experience in the health care industry. She joined PHC in 2006, and is responsible for information technology, human resources, and accounts payable for the organization. Prior to joining PHC, she worked as the Business Office Manager at the Lone Star Family Health Center, an FQHC, where she was responsible for the implementation of an electronic health record and practice management system. She also worked as the Area Practice Manager for HCA Physicians Services and as an Office Manager for a private physician’s office. Ms. Thompson studied Human Resource Management at San Jacinto College and through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
She is a certified Practice Manager and led PHC’s implementation team for Dentrix (Dental Software), Sevocity (Electric Medical Records), MSI Medical Systems, Inc. (Practice Management Software), and Updox (Telehealth Software) and most recently Sevocity PM (Practice Management Software).
